Collecting new car from Birmingham mid August....a Tuesday..10AM from Settle, change at Leeds and BHam New Street, get off at Gravelly Hill ETA 14:30, where I’m getting collected by someone from the dealership.

So 4.5 hours, plenty of time to read the Yorkshire Post, £24.80 with a Senior Rail Card. I think that’s pretty good value.

I understand the accent. Years ago, when between wives, I went out for a year with a lass who lived on the Hagley Rd.
Regular Sunday lunches in a pub up the Clent hills, then a 5AM start on Monday to get to work
In Leeds.

They won’t allow you to take the Suzy back with you on the train, especially at rush hour!
