 The Great Outdoors, BBC2 - Robin O'Reliant
Anyone who missed this programme, on for half hour at 10pm tonight, the first in a series of three should catch it on iplayer.

One of the funniest comedy's I have seen for years, about a group of ramblers. If you remember the classic "Nuts in May" from the seventies it is on the same lines, the type of programme you rarely see these days.

I'd be surprised if anyone would find it disappointing, highly recommended.

Yes just watched it - It was actually a repeat, I think it was originally on in the late hours on BBC4. Virtually every line a gem.

We didn't do that in Barnstaple

Undoubtably one of the best!

Some very memorable lines - particulary the one about the Somali pirates on the Wendover Branch of the Grand Union Canal!
