Only one problem! - if the Moon landings had happened in `69, you would think this thing would be orbiting the Moon as a handy footstep to future exploration, not orbiting 200miles above the Earth! - ???

Yeah, but Elvis demanded that it be commutable from Las Vegas, and it also houses the energy weapon that George Bush used to destroy the Twin Towers, so it had to be close to the Earth.
