Forget Ratto's Virgin Werst Coast......Have a look at how they shunt a trainload of passengers in Eastern Europe !

Come in at 6 minutes for the action !

Only looked for 6min+ on that. I got the impression they did it all the time. And initial thought was that's not safe replaced by 'the strength of the wood is along the grain'. He even swapped it the branch so it was the other way around?

So it looked fine to me.

No problem, it's only a branch line ... ... ...

Looks fine to me, never seen a shunting pole before?!

And the loco looks like a Resita Class 0-8-0T engine for anyone who's a spotter... The Welshpool and Llanfair Railway have two! There's a nice bit at 3 mins where she's filled up from the river via a pump and hose mounted on the engine...

In the Maintennace yard there is a Barrier vehicle which means you can couple 2x different units together to get them moved.

Look on the front of trains and on the dmu the couplers are different to that of the voyagers and freight etc.

On the train you need compressed air to release the brakes and the barrier vehicle has the air hoses and coupler on the ends.

Never used a tree though will try that tonight. :-)
