BBC4 now, Fords Dagenham Dream, may be a repeat, but i haven't seen it.

Seen it, very good programme but don't watch it if your are easily depressed, its a terrible tale of inept management and bolshey trade unions.

I fell asleep on the sofa 15 minutes into the programme, still i am sure that they will show it again before to long !

I watched it the first time round, The real Eastenders (type) interested me more-than Fords of Dagenham though,

Many of the workers were Londoners moved out to the 'new' post-war housing estates, I believe.

My f-i-l told me many stories such as getting their heads down while on night shift etc., etc., etc!
