...a very good example of why there should not be such a thing as a PCSO. Why have them, they are expensive for what they are/do.... for every ten of them you could have 6 police officers. Madness. Why not employ the real thing.
... and i'm not saying there aren't some good people doing that role, some using it to join as an officer, it's just the futility of having people paid £25K a year who cannot arrest miscreants, properly investigate crime, etc.
P.S. Spot the poster who retired two days ago and will be perfectly happy to 'say it as it is' when required (within the remit of retaining loyalty to an organisation that i'm proud to have served and which looked after me).
