Anyone else find uploading to Youtube is painfully slow?

Earlier this evening I uploaded a 121MB clip to Picasa in something like 20 mins (might have been 30) - not fast, but acceptable. But now I'm uploading it to Youtube, and most of the time it just sits there. Then it'll advance a couple of %, followed by another long period of inactivity. It's currently predicting a total time of about 2 hours, but it's been saying that for about half an hour.

And it's not just this evening - I've tried uploading stuff to Youtube a few times recently and it's been the same.

Is it just me?

(I think my max upload speed is 1MB, but that's not the issue - it's why the big difference between uploading to Picasa and uploading to Youtube.)

Yes its slow, last night took 2.5 hours to upload 4 mins of HD video.

Thanks. Left if uploading overnight and it got there in the end, don't know how long it took though. And this was something interesting, not trains.

Just uploading another video to Google Photos and Youtube at the same time. The Google upload completed in about an hour and a half; Youtube is 15% complete!
