Being asked about cookies - Rudedog
I honestly haven't changed any of my browser settings (Safari) but over the last few weeks I've noticed that I've started to be asked to accept the cookies that come that site (these are pages I've regularly visited in the past).

Has anyone else noticed this?

It's probably due to the recent new EU cookie law that came into force on May 26.

Thanks VxFan - I'd also noticed it but not bothered to find out why.

That makes sense, it does interfere with my browsing as you have to accept/decline them every time you revisit the site and doesn't remember your last input.

It should. You should only have to set cookies once.

Doesn't seem to work for me, if I close out of a site then I'm asked about accepting cookies when I return.

As I mentioned I haven't changed any setting and I'm set to accept cookies from trusted sites (which these are).

If you do a Windows disk cleanup or use a programme such as Ccleaner they will clean out all your saved cookies - unless you tell Ccleaner not delete them on a site by site basis.
