 Skype on Mac not working - CGNorwich
Until recently Skype has worked faultlessly. Now it won't switch the internal camera on on my imac. so I have no video - sound is working fine. I get an error message in Skype saying video camera is turned off. The camera is working fine in other applications such a Photo Booth. Have tried re-loading Skype but same problem. Any ideas?

Seems the first thing to do is to create a new user on the Mac, log onto that one, then start Skype. This checks that no old user process was hogging the camera.

Checked out Applications. There were two version of Skype - old and new. Have deleted old and now all OK.
