"New" tags - nice but dim
This will have been covered before, I don't seem to get the red "New" tags when a reply is made to a post? I'm using Firefox 14.1

Any ideas?

You have to be logged in - I know you must have logged in to post, but was it just that you weren't before, and now you see them?

Thanks, I thought admin had done something to fix it.

I see them now.

It will be cookie related. I see them when not logged in across a few machines including the phone. They are a good feature.

Something I've been seeing recently is that I click on a New tag, read the post(s), click on the post's 'return to list' left-arrow button (ie. not the browser back button), and the New tag is still there. If I click on it again, I get taken to the same post, and the post is in the 'new post' colours.

This doesn't always happen, and the tag has (always, I think) disappeared next time I return to the list of posts.

Is this a feature of the browser (Chrome), the site software, or something else? Does it happen to anyone else?

Happened to me too and this is Safari 6 on Mac OSX Mountain Lion.

Ditto IE9.

I'll inform SK to see if there is a problem.

Still happening occasionally Vx, like just now. Did you get any response?

Not a big problem, just curious really.

No change to the software, so don't know what is going on there.
We quite often have to bounce the web server, basically every time we alter the hosting configuration, but I can't think straight away if that might cause the cookie sessions to go awry.

Happens to me occasionally too. Both at home on Chrome and at work on IE7.
