I have somehow made a boring photo the "screensaver" (or whatever the scenic background view, presumably supplied by Microsoft, is called). I have Microsoft Office 2007 Professional suite.
How can I get rid of it or resume the former or some other acceptable display please?

You mean your desktop background? If so, right click on the desktop and change it. Under Personalise in Windows 7, can't remember XP.

Not only boring but something I really didn't want to be reminded of, a record shot to give in evidence against a builder.
