 Wrong browser - Ambo
I have used Google for years. Today, something called Bing has appeared instead. I can still get to Google but this involves a second operation. How can I restore Google as default please?

I've altered the title of my reply as your search engine has changed - not your browser. Very easy to change in Firefox as clicking on the magnifying glass symbol on the left of the search box takes you to the right bit of the settings.

But you don't say which browser you are using, but it is still going to be in the settings menu.

AS SP said, we need to know which browser you are using.

Also,as SP also said, do you mean "wrong browser" or do you mean "right browser, wrong search engine"?

If it's Internet Explorer (which a vast majority of people use)

Then

Tools->Internet Options

Then change the search engine to whatever you want in the box on the General Tab, home page box

So, are you all sorted now?

Probably agreed to accepting Microsoft's Bing whilst updating or installing software.

Must have been a slip of the keystroke.

Yes, thanks.

Bing is not a bad search engine - I often use it as, while it does have ads pushed, it often brings up better results when looking for "stuff", rather than information.
