 Firefox 57 - Roger.
Mozilla, with a flourish, have updated Firefox to version 57, named "Firefox Quantum".
It is touted a being faster, and it seems to be so.
But and it's a big BUT, many of the existing extensions do not work with it, including among others I have installed, my absolute favourite " Paste Email". There are others, such as Facebook Purity, my download manager, colourful tabs, etc., etc., etc.................................

I've uninstalled V57 and reverted to V 56, which solved the problem.

I have now turned off "automatic updte" in Firefox preferences!

I installed this the other day! - funny things keep happening!! random redirects, ad pages loading, bookmarks corrupted, the latest one is trying to post on this forum, pressing "post" sometimes deletes the message!! - ;-(((

I've found the new version to be slow and clunky. I've tried reverting to a previous version, but I get the response 'no previous versions available'.
Will you tell me how you did it please?

If you have a 64bit operating system, use Waterfox....:-)

Just empty the web cache daily to maintain the speed (Tools>Options>Advanced)

How best can I find out whether my PC has a 64 or 32 bit operating system, please?

In Windows 10 - right click the Windows button (Start), or go into Control panel some other way.

Click System and look for System Type

I did, at some length, but it has vanished.
