I'm trying to insert a HSE vidoe from You Tube into PowerPoint and I'm getting this message

Flash Embedded videos are no longer supported but you can watch it on You Tube.

Now that's fine if I had a decent broadband connection in my training room but I haven't and I've always been able to do this previously.

Is there a work-around at ll that isn't too technical please?

So have you downloaded the actual video and it's Flash, i.e. a FLV file?

I don't know!

I've just done what I've always done and copied the embedded link on You tube and inserted it into the presentation.

It's always worked before but I've tried it with another random one and that won't work either and I get the same message.

Probably not, I guess pat is imbedding the link and letting the app sort it out. It wont now because flash is deemed as nasty

she will need to download the video from Youtube, using one of the capture apps

And then imbed that into her presentation

I've always used Div X I think for that but it won't update anymore and when I Google it I'm not the only one who has problems with it so I've uninstalled it altogether.

Thanks Z, I downloaded the first one on the list and it's all good again!
