£25, so tremendously well spent. It was only just over two years old but no longer functioning properly.

A bit like changing your windscreen wipers, you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. Log in to your Apple account and book it in at a service centre. The one I went to - UTL Repair Centre - is owned by, of all companies, Unipart.
