Four minutes to build...

...and five minutes for Windows to load.

Actually I think the clock stopped when the PC connected to the network - it looks like the 4:09 time is being displayed by a computer which was waiting for connections (I think). In which case the built PC must have booted into *an* OS, although haven't checked whether it's Windoze or not.

On the video at 2.06 one of the screens shows "starting Windows"

So PC built in 2 mins - wow!

EDIT: hang on - didn't they have to install it? Already on the HD?

Msut be, building a PC and installing Windows in 4 minutes would really be some feat.

It would take me four minutes just to put the heatsink and thermal paste on.

It takes time to put the stand offs in the right place and align them with the holes on the motherboard too.

That said I probably build about two PCs a year (I have built about 200) and every three months or so I might replace a motherboard.

I am guessing these guys work in computer factories.

If you watch the video they have a very detailed instruction sheet, and some of them are looking at it with that look I use when looking at the gearbox dismantling bits of an old Haynes manual.
