Firefox. Deleting 'in private' predictive typing - bathtub tom
I can guess what you lot are thinking!

I've a BIG wedding anniversary coming up and been using 'in private browsing' to search for a gift for SWMBO. I've just realised that it predicts previous entries when typing in. I know SWMBO also use 'in private'.

How can I stop it predicting previously used 'in private' addresses?

Tools> Clear Recent History

or

Ctrl + Shift + Del

Make sure all the boxes are ticked.

EDIT: Also, Tools> Options> Privacy> Location Bar

"When using the Location Bar, suggest:"

it offers you Bookmarks, History, History and Bookmarks, or Nothing. Select Nothing.
