Just back from polling station. They report business as brisk - 64% at this stage.
All things considered, I feel the past 13 years were not quite what I would have wanted, so didn't vote for the current lot.
Cameron and Clegg, despite their rhetoric of change, seem to be basically offering more of the same, so I didn't want to vote for them.
In the end, I reckoned it came down to a choice between voting for a raving loony or spoiling the ballot, and after some thought, decided that while the former course of action went against the grain, it was probably the more effective way of registering my dissatisfaction with the political establishment.
