Yes, but the presentation, IMHO, is a lot less boring than how the BBC did it. That makes the difference.

It's just a name at the end of the day.
The same could be said of something like Wheeler Dealers, which was once a show buying cars for up to a couple of grand, and sell on for a couple of hundred quid profit. Now the format is to buy a car for 20 to 30 grand (I refuse to quote dollars like they do), and then sell it on for 5 to 10 grand profit. Those expensive cars aren't "wheeler dealer" cars.
