I have recently purchased a Panasonic camera which has a GPS feature.

I order to enable speedier satellite location there is a program called GPSAssist which I need to run on my Mac. every time I try to run this program I get the message

"Unable to copy GPS assist data.
var is write-protected.
Release the write protection.

Not really sure what this is saying - any ideas anyone?
