I've just been watching an episode based on taking a Blue/Silver do-what-you-likey Range Rover and painting it white as well as sorting out a few other bits.
I enjoy the show, its pleasant entertainment.
However, they bought this RR for £5k, spent another £5k on it and sold it for £11k which doesn't take into account any of Edd China's labour or the state of the art workshop and tools that they have at their disposal.
Seemingly suggesting that it is impossible to make a business out of buying cars and materially improving them before selling them at a profit.
No wonder there are so many dodgy recons, repairs and rebuilds out there.
On the other hand, given access to the facilities, I find it amazing how much they do manage to achieve. If I had bought that RR for £5k and managed to do that to it for another £5k I'd have been keeping it and been well happy to do so.
