It's easier to replace batteries in laptops than you think, manufacturers know it's going to happen so they make it relatively easy for their service partners.

Changed the battery on my MacBook air, new one even came with the pentelobe screwdrivers to do the job. It was the work of 10 mins and the aid of a YouTube video
