I thought it was a pretty dull episode generally, and I say that as someone who has really enjoyed the previous episodes. But then I have absolutely no interest in a £160k Lamborghini SUV, and although the A110 piece was OK, this car has been reviewed and group tested to death in the press already over the past year. May's piece looked like a slick, more expensively produced rework of an Autocar test of the car that's been on YouTube since December 2017. Late to the party, and not bringing anything new.
It is unfortunately starting to feel a little bit desperate and a bit "forced", this season, IMO. Hopefully they can turn it around. The obviousness of the scripting has definitely gone up a notch, Hammond's horse rant being a perfect example.
