 Plastic on rear wheel arch - Bobby
Have seen various cars, inc our Fiesta, with wee bits of plastic trim on rear wheel arches.
Often wondered what it is for.

Happened to come across this on twitter yesterday

So it turns out they are there to satisfy regulations on wheels protruding from body of car.
Surely it would be easier, and nicer on the eye, to just shape the wheelarch or rear bumper accordingly?
