Quite a successful past few weeks, slowly clearing out my wardrobes and now progressing to stuff hidden away in drawers for far too long.
The biggest success was finding a charity who would accept my late Aunts ‘in ear’ hearing aids, for which she paid several £thousand over a short period in her latter years to Hidden Hearing. I’m assured they will be used in Third World countries despite being ‘customised in ear’ appliances.
Old prescription glasses have been recycled at Boots Opticians....I don’t know how that works.
Next in line are my old phones....Nokia 1600 & 2330, plus a Sony Ericsson T280. Hope I can find someone, anyone, who can make use of them.
Lots of outdoor jackets, decent boots and other footwear gone to the Salvation Army collection point locally, and I’ve now reduced my rucksack collection to only 5.
On Saturday I’m starting on the loft !
