In the UK we seem to be constantly told about how diesel is the spawn of the devil and that no right minded person should buy a new one..

And yet..

Just seen the new 2020 Audi S4 (so just below the RS4) and guess what it a 3.0 V6 TDi bi-turbo, not only that but I'm sure I've seen 2019 Q3 (or 5's) with 5.0 TDi's, so I guess Germany is still pushing diesel.

I'm at the point of getting my next new car and I really want a Golf GTi but I love driving a diesel so could go for a GTD but here in the UK I just feel under pressure to go to petrol.

Saying that I saw the VW ID3 at Goodwood and I definitely liked the look of that! If VW get their act together with that car they could be onto a winner.
