Thanks, and no, I hadn't seen that. I'm not sure it's the same issue but it did lead me to some appropriate and complicated manuals which I shall digest at a quiet moment.
Today it was irritating again; it was about 32 degrees outside. The aircon had been blowing cold for ages and it was certainly too cold in the car. But because it was 32 outside and the temperature was set at 19 it would not give up the fight.
Eventually I had to set the temperature at 30 to get just a cool breeze.
