You're in Surrey if I remember correctly.
We're in Northampton commuter village just west of the M1. If going south on M1 we join at 15A ie the A43 intersection.
Headed for Heathrow I'd regard M1 or A43/M40 as a 6 v 2*3 thing. Final decision would probably be based on Google timings and congestion reports. Friend who used to live in village and who had a job that involved regular LHR trips had same theory.
Even if headed to or from Kent/Channel we'll consider A43/M42/M25W then M26/M20.
More likely to use it coming north because Dartford tunnels are much more prone to stoppages than the QE2 bridge but no seat if there's trouble on M1 or NE quadrant of M25.
