That was when I was asked to join the first one having just joined the business. Panic had already started. There was a project meeting at 6pm every day to review progress on known problems and unveil the new ones. Of course they were breeding. I have never seen so much stress in one very smoke-filled room.
There was no capacity for parallel running. There was a pilot conversion, no way back but at least it was only maybe 10% of the file and one client that went wrong.
Happy days, but only in hindsight.
