All is not well in the state of Zippy - zippy
I had to go to see a client today. Emergency visit as we still need permission from the division’s MD for each trip.

Mrs Z kindly cooked for me when I got home.

Reheated chicken curry that was frozen last time one was made.

The dog on the other hand had a steak!!!

Not impressed, not bally impressed!

I hope you ate it with three chappatis and no cutlery like we do in Bradford.
That is when we pluck up the courage to drive there. Or better still go on the train as it’s a long walk home.

Your dinner's in the dog. Oh dear, what have you been up to?

I know.

I refused to buy a Miele Dishwasher replacement to our dead / un-reparable one!

Have you seen what they cost!!!

All the white goods in the kitchen of our principal UK residence are made by Miele.

They can be pricey, but if you hunt around, there is normally a somewhat cheaper model.

Very good stuff.

Not, I threw out our Miele Blizzard Cat & Dog vac after 2 years, and bought a SEBO.

Clearly it's a very small price to pay

Arguably, your wife made the right decision. While you may have been briefly disappointed at the time, had she given you the steak, and the curry to the dog, it would have ended much more dramatically !

This morning, the dog, all 18 inches long and 10 inches high is walking around the place like she owns it!

I'm not aware of the gender of said pooch but there is a saying about 'a dog with 2 dicks' :)

My goldie is such a tart, I sometimes think two wouldn't be enough.

Our neighbours have had a lovely Lab pup a couple of months ago. Being rural it lives in a kennel in their yard. She's a lovely little thing, likes fuss - the kids there have had a wonderful summer playing with her...

A bad case of the Shih Tzu’s

Close - Lhasa Apso. Bossy little mare, thank goodness her bark is quite deep!

To be fair, the dog probably went a long way to giving Mrs Z something to live for 10 years ago when she was at deaths door, so I give it a bit of slack.

I know someone who claims their dog's a Shih-Tzu/poodle cross. Are they really called s***z-poos? I would've thought Shizzle would be better.
