Lease on my BMW series 2 convertible is up in the summer, so starting to look at my next car. The BMW has been good but due lack of space I will get something bigger. Initially considered a Qashqai (had 2 previous ones) but the CLA Shootingbrake has turned my head.
Will probably buy instead of lease, budget is up to £30K. Looking at Autotrader I see a few around my area within my budget, 1-2 years old. My one must have is a sunroof (hate dingy interiors) so the only model option is the premium plus.
Will almost certainly be a petrol model and so the 2.0 CLA 250 seems a good choice but I have noticed a few 1.3 CLA 180 models for sale (including a '73 reg for under £30K). My only worry would be the performance, seems like a very small engine for car of that size.
Anyone have any real world experience of the two engine options?
