 Volkswagen Touran II - Seats 5 or 7? - Iffy
Keeping the car for 'five or so' years reduces the value of the seats one way or the other.

It's quite a long time, so far more important to have the car to your preferred spec while you own it.

I didn't have the Touran down as a seven-seater in my mind, although there are one or two owners or ex-owners on here who are better qualified to comment.
