 Getting old - Iffy
...worn jeans...

A party of us were once out on the town in West London.

We pitched up at a half-decent nightclub, only for one of the ladies in the group to be denied entry.

Why? She was wearing jeans.

The daft thing was I was wearing my Man at C&A Crimplene slacks which cost about £12, and she was wearing designer label jeans which cost three or four times as much.

I was reminded of this by a story in the last few days about the Ritz in Piccadilly, London.

They are relaxing their dress code to include denim, but only during the day.
