Surfers from around the world gathered in Gloucestershire on Tuesday 3 March 2010 to ride the Severn bore, a natural phenomenon that pushes a huge wave up the Severn Estuary.
The high tide meant the Bore was rated as a huge five star.
BBC Points West's Ali Vowles watched the spectacle from the banks of the River Severn.
