Is it possible to locate a cookie on one computer and copy it to another computer so both computers are recognized by a website I am logging into?
I did a cleanup of my windows and lost the identification on that computer and cannot log in.

    Yes ....

Don't know if copy/paste would do the trick - never tried it, but you could export cookies from computer A (IE > File > Import and Export) and save on a pen drive, plug into computer B and follow the same procedure, except this time select Import.

This will work unless the cookie recognises a specific computer - unlikely I guess.

    Copying Cookies

There is no problem in copying cookies. They are just small txt-files. You find all your cookies by right-clicking on the start button, then choose 2.nd from top (research or whatever it is called in english) Then you should see your username/cookies. Copy all or the one you need. (If you can find it)
If you cannot see all the folders. Then choose Tools, Folder alternatives, Show and choose show hidden files and folders
