Great service

Fiona at Nottingham Talbot street car park was really kind and went to a lot of trouble to help me use the special parking voucher issued recently by Nottingham Playhouse theatre. This arrangement is a big saving when visiting the theatre.I always use this car park when visiting the city from Derby as it is clean, fairly easy to get in and out of for a multi story and on the right side of the city for an easy exit on to the A52.

Zero stars

Wish I could give 0 stars. Parking opposite Sheffield Children's Hospital your prices are ridiculous when some families are there a lot. We parked Thursday for 2.30 hours and it cost £7.50 absolute daylight robbery. No concession for disabled users, the main area and pay machines filthy. But you have the monopoly as parents need to park close by, no need for prices that high. Appalling!!!!!

Avoid Q-Parks

Take any opportunity to charge you extra, arrived 30 minutes early but left 2.5 hours early therefore 2 hours less than pre-paid duration, however still charge you £3.50 for being early (effectively for 15 minutes as they offer 15 minutes grace). So effectively, that's £14 an hour when a 28 hour prebooked stay is only £30. Real life pirates, won't ever use a Q-Parks again..

Q park are modern day pirates avoid or at the very least be aware. I pre booked online , arrived later and left earlier than planned . I used the car I had pre booked and entry and exit were automatic the result of a successful number plate scan. 2 days after parking I was charged the full fee again, without any contact or authorisation. That’s theft .
The scary part is customer service have a drop down for double charging which can only mean they do it a lot. The customer service agent responded to say “ the number plate was different to the booking “ . A complete lie as the car went in and out on the same scanned number plate and the Qpark system used that very same plate to help themselves to my credit card.

Parking in the OMNi centre is not…

Parking in the OMNi centre is not straight forward due to the odd shape of the car park and then finding the lift to the street was difficult to find. However I have lived in Edinburgh for 50 years and know the complexities of this car park?! Jorge the attendant deserves a mention for the assistance he gave me in finding my QR code,he was polite and patient and a credit to the company.

DISGUSTING

Attended A & E Taunton & parked in the multi story car park. I was immediately admitted and spent 10 days in hospital. During this time I mentioned that my car was in the car park. A member of staff spoke with, I presume the parking company and informed me there would be no issue. When I was discharged I attended the office to be met with a £30.00 charge. When challenged the male behind the desk just kept mumbling something. When I got to my car my daughter noted extensive damage to my O/S front wing. According to the company there are no cameras on any levels!! Typical "dont care about customers" response from the company.
One piece of morality that i can walk away with is the knowledge that my £30.00 for parking kept an ambulance on the road. I would say avoid them but they have the monopoly at Taunton Musgrove Hospital.

Satisfied Visit

Capital Sq Q-Park, bright, well-lit and safe. Friendly advice on directions to hotel and how to gain access to EICC from a very helpful David.

Leeds Q-Park The Lite

Leeds Q-Park The Lite. I arrive 16 minutes before the pre-booked time and left 22 minutes earlier than my booking. That meant I paid for 6 minutes more than I had used. I was then informed that I had been charged £3.40 extra for overstaying. When I challenged this I was told that it was because I had arrived earlier than my booking time. Unless I drove around Leeds centre for 16 minutes I had nowhere to wait and no alternative other than to enter the car park. Very underhand - Never again!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, ABSOLUTE RIP OFF. We booked to park from 1600hrs until 2300hrs in Nottingham. Due to good traffic we arrived 16 minutes early. The event finished early too, so we left the car park at 2150hrs, an hour early. But Q park charged us extra for arriving early and refuse to refund for the time not used. I tried to complain and had to chat online to someone called Sarah, who really wasn't bothered and had terrible manners. The only alternative was to park on double yellow lines for 16 minutes in a city centre, or drive around until the right time. Absolutely terrible customer service. I've now deleted my account with them and will not use again

Parking with a sting!

Should have read others reviews before parking at Qpark 😠 Stick exactly to your exit time - same as your entrance time but on the date you leave. Didn't realise this and the booking confirmation, receipt and emails all just give a date (no time) which gives you false sense that it is to a time entered on the website when pre-booking or any time on the exit date on the confirmation. Because we entered earlier our exit time was also earlier. QPark do not provide you with any reminders and do not send the terms and conditions to you. They then go and slap a £3.30/hr additional charge if you overstay the pre-booked time. Underhanded to catch people out - be wary!

Poor Customer Service

It is a very modern phenomenon to have poor after sales care with big on line platforms. The idea of Q-Park is a good one – to be able to book your car parking space prior to your visit somewhere. Brilliant. In its purest form, you pay your money, rock up and park your car in the aforementioned space and BINGO. Everyone happy. It’s a tired line, but I wish I had read the reviews beforehand and then shopped elsewhere.

I booked a parking space in First Street, Manchester so myself and my partner could enjoy a long weekend there. Unfortunately, our whole trip was railroaded by an out of the blue medical appointment that was thrust upon us. We had to change everything. The company we used for accommodation had a booking policy much like Q-Park’s – ie completely inflexible. However, when I proved what I was saying was correct they kindly moved our booking.

Dealing with Q-Park was a very different beast. They retained 25% of our money because of ’late cancellation’, even though I explained it was out of our hands. When I offered to move the same booking later into the year for our re-arranged visit they refused. I had exchanges with 3 different customer service agents over the same issue. Not one offered any level of sympathetic understanding.

I try to fix issues at point of contact. I don’t immediately ‘take to the internet’ to complain, but they have forced my hand. A warning then. You might be fine with your booking, but if you have an issue, the very best of luck to you.

Supposedly secure car park- my vehicle was broken into, passenger side window smashed.
When came back to the site to collect my vehicle the pedestrian entrance wasn’t secure (you could enter even though you were only meant to access it via a secure code) and the entrance/exit electronic gates were open (again which shouldn’t be possible)
Very much stinks of an inside job

Prebooking is pointless !

Prebooked parking at Mailbox Birmingham for concert - along with everyone else! Probably 50 cars driving round trying to park. Cars abandoned in hashed markings, valet areas, up curbs.
No staff around , even in the help kiosk . Everyone we spoke with in lifts or stairs at the beginning or end of night saying same thing - they had prebooked!
Even worse on the way out - didn’t move for 3/4 hour !
Why allow such a large number of prebooked spaces that you simply can’t accommodate?
Very frustrating start and end to the night !

A Ripoff!!! Avoid!…

Q Park Sheffield- This car parks an absolute joke and a ripoff! It seems they allow you to pay a pre-book price, then they charge you with a ticket from the machine which you pay in a machine after, avoid!!

my car was broken into

my car was broken into. Smashed back window. Stole my suitcase and bag. PLEASE DO NOT park in Q PARK Soho London. It's not safe or secure. Nobody in office. Its a regular hot spot for local criminals that are watching customers come back to cars with shopping bags. I even filmed a suspect on level 3 checking out a Range Rover and shared with the Met police who were quick to the scene. A local man said its a terrible car park and these incidents are getting worse and more regular.

AVOID Q-PARKS AT ALL COSTS

AVOID Q-PARKS AT ALL COSTS - Car was broken into and laptop stolen at the Burlington facility. The car park isn't secure as the pedestrian doors that should only be accessed via a code are left open.

Wonderful service especially from Barrington

Tower Bridge Gainsford Rd car park... Easy access, clean, felt safe and secure but the best part was Barrington the attendant who was remarkably kind and helpful when we had an issue with the car. He was so courteous and had great local knowledge and really made a very difficult situation so much better. Thankyou so much to him.

So apparently customer service is an oxymoron for this company. Ex Pat visting from the USA. Wanted to take my children to York for a special trip, booked at the Moxy (nice hotel folks), nearest parking garage was Q Park Shambles. It woul NOT let me book online to obtain my hotel discount. It turns out that the car park was closed Monday night the 11th of March. No problem as I was leaving Tuesday morning. i park my car there as it was literally just around the corner. When I checked out tried to talk to the attendant about the situation, no help just repeated the same statement about honoring pre-booking only. This was echoed by custometr service online, that apparently has a hard time understanding that pre-booking was impossible due to the website blocking pre booking. It was literally like banging my head against a brick wall with this company, hence my opening statement.
