Made from strong aluminium, it’s easy to unfold five pole frame supports a hardy 3000mm HH Oxford ripstop outer that’s been finished with a double silver treatment for better heat insulation and water resistance, helping keep you warm and dry if the bad weather sets in.
One of the lightest roof tents on the market, the Vertex weighs just 37.5 kg (including its telescopic ladder), making it manageable for two people to lift. It has a maximum ladder load capacity of 150kg. The Vertex is compatible with roof bars that have a maximum Dynamic Load rating of 50Kg or greater and, unlike larger roof tents, can be used on smaller hatchback cars fitted with roof bars. A handy repair kit is included and lantern hanging points and two internal storage pockets help you to stay tidy and organised.

Excellent piece of kit, fits easily to car roof rails, simple and easy to unpack and raise ready for use.
A little short for 6ft people, waterproof and sturdy, stood up to some heavy Scotish downpours and gales with ease.
midge netting works superb, slept with netting closed but main door open or condensation quite bad, otherwise brilliant.
Easily packs away for traveling and not much wind drag.
Need some advice?
Top mattress separate & cover can be unzipped & washed. Ladder 2425mm long. The windows have double zips on internal & mesh panels (so venting at top easy as you can leave slightly open as internal panel under laps the outer skin). How to tie up the mesh door panel is unfathomable with the velcro tie supplied. Red ladder tie is strong but as rungs are already velcro tied to stop opening what is the point of it. No decent instructions. No spares contact. No max ladder height or roof bar spacing. Rail bolts fit via central rail hole. Excellent repair kit. Design could be better. It's Robust! :)
