The angry resident who filmed the scene this week fumed about the group bringing "Covid-19 into our town" and endangering his father.

He blasted them for "endangering the lives of the community".

In the video, the angry local can be heard saying: "I've come here to tell you to disappear.

"If you bring Covid-19 into our town by your f**king mass movements and my father dies because he comes into contact with someone you've been in contact with - that's why it's a lockdown you doughnuts."

In Wales, 28 people have died from Covid-19 and more than 700 have been confirmed to have the virus.

Under Boris Johnson's coronavirus lockdown, essential travel is only permitted for basic necessities, going to and from work as a key worker, and to exercise in the form or a walk or jog.

Police have the power to issue £60 fines or arrest people if they refuse to comply.

Experts have also urged people to practice social distancing to help slow the spread of the killer bug.

They advise you keep two metres - or 6ft - between you and any other people.

Beth Davies, another resident, told Wales Online: "How stupid can people be and how thoughtless - whilst everyone else in our town is doing all they can to eliminate this virus these morons are playing Russian roulette with people's lives."

Sergeant Ian Price tweeted yesterday: "Positive reports from Go Safe Wales bike team that there are no large gatherings of bikers in the Llandovery area of Dyfed Powys today thus far.

"We will maintain a presence to ensure all motorists are complying with the limits to prevent added pressure on."

North Wales Police said: "Coming into North Wales for 'a blast' on your motorcycle is NOT considered as essential travel .

"This was an excuse given to some of us whilst we were on patrol yesterday .

"This isn't a drill. Please stay at home."
