Indy cars, like world sports car have that flat bottom. Get them up into the airflow and they will fly

The ironic thing is that the last lap yellows allowed dario franchitti to win, he would have run out of fuel.

I once had the wonderful experience of being driven around a UK airfield speed course by Dario (he was only about 21 at the time) in a Mercedes SL open top in the mid-1990s. At the time he was involved in the Mercedes team in the European equivalent of the BTTC.

It was an out of this world drive I will never, ever forget...:-)

Zero's clip was Peter Dumbreck a few years ago at Le Mans. There were three Mercs racing, (one being driven by Mark Webber!) and that was (IIRC) the second flip, and was the one which caused the withdrawal of all three entries.
