Anyone know if the nozzles on petrol & diesel pumps are the same size all over mainland Europe as they are here ? I am just thinking about possible problems with the misfuelling device fitted in some diesel cars now.

I don't think they are the same size everywhere which is why Ford provided an adapter for fuelling their cap-less easy fuel system . Also needed to add an additive to the fuel tank. Probably find the funnel with the spare wheel.

These new devices stop you using truck diesel pumps-the ones with the very large pipes and nozzles.It's back to slow filling.

New devices? I couldn't use the derv pumps on my 2003 Laguna! - Much too big.
