Myself & large group of chums walked from Settle to Helwith Bridge, in upper Ribblesdale, for a pre arranged Xmas lunch and attempt to empty two barrels of decent beer. Nearing the HW inn we heard traffic on the quiet road linking Ribblesdale to the A65, and lo and behold there was a checkpoint at the pub. Looking out the window, pint in hand, blazing fire pre dining, an assortment of old machinery. Alfa 1750, Audi 80s, etc etc. I should have made the effort to stand closer to the action outside, but it was an unexpected bonus to a grand day out.

More than 50 Jaguars plus several other interesting cars had a "run" from just south of Gatwick to Brighton sea front for the folks to have breakfast.
As the cars were departing more than 50 BMC MINIs came past. Most were decked out in Christmas decorations.
Anyone aware of their meeting / destination ?
