And don't park on their neighbour's drives either.

I wonder if there are people who watch TV in portrait mode?

There does seem to a number who do, although I'd rather think they are also in the must stretch brigade and will 'happily' watch a 4:3 sourced TV programme in a 16:9 format.

Once upon a time, not-so long ago, I knew a farmer up on Bodmin Moor who, when a chap (who I also knew) refused back up in a narrow country, just picked his car up with his tractor (with him in it) and moved it out of the way.

Said farmer had 'history' and spent time in Exeter prison for giving someone a bunch of fives for something or other. Fortunately (for me) I was on good terms with the farmer, although I did upset a friend of his at one time, but lived to tell the tale.

I upset the other chap (with the car) too at one time, nasty piece of work he was, unlike the farmer (unless you upset him!!)
