 Decent Transport Cafe On A74 - Robbie34
I'll be returning from Edinburgh on Monday and would welcome advice for a decent transport cafe on the A74 where I could stop for lunch.

Many years ago I used to stop at one not far from Gretna, travelling south. Not sure if this will still be there.

Moffat is a nice place but avoid the café in the big clothing mill. It is infested with coach parties and you have to queue a long time for bad food. The Costa coffee bar inside is OK though.

Lesmahagow closed a few weeks ago GB, it has finally succumbed to the bid to build a ne Tesco on the land.

The pub at Crawford doubles as a Transport Cafe though.
