Lifetime warranty on refured TC gearbox!

I have had cars for 52 years, mostly new/nearly new - very few failures that needed replacement - 1 starter motor, 1 dynamo, lots of calipers - never had a replace "big stuff" eg engine/gearbox.

I had a starter motor acting up - round to the Indie - left it with him - 3 hours later car fixed - he had taken it off, passed it to someone in a nissen hut a few doors down to get looked at & he re-fitted it. Bill? IIRC it was £20 for his work & £30 for the refurb - that would have been £hundreds @ the Vx garage.

You haven't lived.

Off the top of my head, one engine, one clutch and one back axle, plus varying numbers of starter motors, alternators, coils, water pumps, radiators, thermostats, leads, distributor bits and pieces, shock absorbers, windscreens. I could go on but I'd cry.
