Nobody needs hire cars cos no-ones flying anywhere.

Probably an insurance job - 3500 cars = $50-100m claim. Much better than just leaving them in a field indefinitely.

...that is one busy airport, not a 'little' one. Fairly high ranking in terms of movements and passengers.
