Maybe the first of others but VW have just announced if you order before the 31st you won't have to pay the new tariffs for post EU membership.

VW are desperate to shift their new iD3 electric car before year's end.

Presumably to reduce the size of fine they have to pay for excessive fleet emissions.

£26k for the 62kWh (260 mile WLTP, 0-60 7s) 'Life' variant on drivethedeal, and I've heard of dealers doing them for £25k from stock.

The ID3 has its limitations, according to reviews I have seen on the 'Tube? Tacky interior and an on-board computer that has a tendency to freeze. Early adopters may be doing the beta testing for VW?

Aye, software is far from sorted and still some features to be rolled out though VW are saying updates will be free for current buyers.

I guess there's some truth in Tesla's success coming from them being a software company that happens to make cars.
