Running a Toyota BZ4X for the next three weeks, and so far it’s proving a comfortable place to be.
I’ve only done Derby-Chorleywood-Oldham in it so far, but on cold, wet, dark motorway journeys it’s performing at about 3.1/3.2 miles per kW/h. I don’t sacrifice comfort for range, so everything I’d have switched on in an ICE will be similarly enabled.
Left Maple Cross with a 100% battery last night, cruised up the M25/M40/M6/M60 on the speed limit and would have done the 210 miles with about 5% battery spare. Not an issue if I had the ability to charge at home, but that’s a long story I’ll tell another day.
A 4 minute plug in at a local rapid charger added 24 miles to the range and gives me a buffer today to get it charged properly.
With any luck I’ll get to drive it in daylight over the weekend.

Nice looking car mcb, looks like a pumped up yaris, only thing for me is the price, starts at 39k rising to 54k, that said it'll likely never go wrong, enjoy.

If I were considering ICE car I would definitely be considering Toyota. An EV probably not. Their software is way behind the leaders like Tesla, Hyundai, and Kia. Slow to charge and not a great reputation for reliability. Expensive too which reflected in sales.

Just the forum I think; Online Satety Act compliance was a bridge too far for them.
