 drink driving - wotspur

Last year I knew that a motorbiker had been hit and unfortunately killed, when hit by a car at 8.30 on a saturday morning, the car driver was found to be 1.5 over the limit - unfortunately Ive just found out the person responsible is a neighbour - what sort of sentenance will he likely get
 drink driving - Zero
What's he been charged with?

If its "Causing death by careless driving under the influence of drink or drugs" the maximum sentence is 14 years in Jail, minimum two years ban and a fine.

Whatever it is, it won't be as long as the one the biker got.
 drink driving - Iffy
So many factors we don't know about to take into account, exact charge, plea, manner of driving, driving history, personal history etc.

But we do know it's 'only' one-and-a-half times over the limit, which suggests an intermediate level offence - two to four-and-a-half years prison.

The would-be judges among you might like to plough your way through this:
