Strange to see a Lambo in the taxi rank...

I live in a posh area.

I've got quite blase about Lambo's tbh - it happens when you live in Cheshire and work near the only Lamborghini dealer in the North.

Ferrari's are another matter, and much rarer, at least round here.

I always worry that they might cook their clutches or something and get stuck in the way.

I mean Mitsubishis of course, not superb examples of Italian tractor-manufacturer's automotive art, veritable icons of the Toad world whose clutches never get cooked and which are jolly economical to run actually old boy believe it or not.

You work in Stockport then AlastairW? Near the town hall it seems.

Odd they claim it's the Manchester dealer when it's actually in Stockport (Cheshire).

Saw a few yesterday when I was doing my track driving bit.... except the Aston Martin I was meant to drive had broken down. Had to drive a Ferrari or come back another time.

We have one of these knocking around my area, local chap whizzes around in it.

Saw an F40 the other month. Same week it appeared on Midsummer Murders. See it buzzing up and down every now and then. Probably the same guy that owns the metro 6R4.

Lambos are reasonably common, see a few ferraris. Mostly see Bentleys as Crewe isn't that far away so they're always floating about.

Even our local Ferrari / Masser dealer building is grade II listed

I cannot find a decent photo of the site showing the normal line up of beasts.

I recall, sometime in the 80s, taking a duff Ferrari down to Maranello but I think it was somewhere like Egham...I remember going over a level crossing nearby.

Am I right ?

Sounds about right Ted.

I once knew the owner of the Ferrari dealer in Egham. He also liked and drove a Lancia Delta Intergrale.

That car park has narrow spaces. Wonder how many people get their doors dinged parking there.

They looked average/normal size to me.... and my next car is wider than some.... I shall walk most places I think :-)

Regularly visit MB world when visiting family in Ottershaw, one son has had various driving experiences there from being a passenger in a AMG to driving a B-Class.

It's is a great place.

Might not be allowed in now with only a choice of BMWs to arrive in ... could take the old Clio I suppose.
