Just posting int he offchance someone knows that "hidden beauty of a place".
Looking to go to the Malaga coast area for a week in May. Just me and the missus. Ideally looking for accomodation that fits the following criteria
private property with its own pool
within about 30 mins of the coast
have cafe / pub / restaurant within a mile of the place
searching the usual air b'n'b, owners direct etc but just in the offchance anyone has been before and has a recommendation?

We went exploring inland from Malaga in early 2014.... and that was cold :-)
We spent a day in Malaga old town and liked it so moved there for the last two days. Founds an old converted palazzo in the old town on (something like) booking.com.
Malaga old town I can say was very good. Can't recommend anywhere with a pool like you're after. But don't go to far inland.
We went a lot earlier but an hour inland and it was very cold. We had a lovely hotel and in summer you could fall in love with the area. We met a couple buying a place nearby (fools) and then a few days later had met the seller and got his story (so they were fools based on his story).
